The mission of the Pamlico County Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life of citizens by offering a variety of activities both active and passive. This is accomplished through programs by partnership with the community and other related agencies.

Alliance Recreation Park Playground Area:
The Alliance Recreation Park playground area will be closed from July 27, 2009 until November 1, 2009 due to renovations. A playground area is available at the Oriental Recreation Complex located on Straight Road directly behind the fire department. Please call our office for more information.

NYSCA Coaches Clinics (T.B.A.) Pamlico County Parks and Recreation will be conducting NYSCA Coaches Certification Clinics for the upcoming Youth Baseball and Softball Programs.
